BreakDown is a team of young people who bring the powerful and dynamic message of hope and freedom to a generation of young people looking for the REAL thing. This fast pace high energy performance, designed specifically for today’s digital generation, was created to break down the lies that our sexually saturated culture has been telling our youth for years!

This presentation tackles tough issues such as drugs and alcohol, rape, sexual abstinence until marriage, teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted disease and HIV, second chances, unhealthy and abusive relationships, pornography, self-esteem, TRUE sexual freedom and much more. Breakdown will shock, challenge, and inspire even the most skeptical teen.

Here’s the Deal

Through music, hip-hop dance, drama, inspirational speaking, video and more, teens are engaged, educated, and entertained as they learn the truth about consequences and are encouraged to make positive choices in their own lives.

Multi-Media

Because we feel this message is so important, we believe its presentation should be worthy of its performance. To ensure a polished, professional appearance, BreakDown travels with its own technical team (which consists of teens) and equipment, including state of the art lighting, sound, and video. Our teens deserve to have a strong message of self-control and HOPE that will replace the destructive messages from the media and other sources.

Dance

Using today’s music and hip-hop moves, our amazing dance team engages and inspires as they present abstinence as a cool and realistic choice for teens. The media is quick to portray abstinence as boring, uncool and outdated. In an hour’s time, we will break down that stereotype and create a new one, one that portrays abstinence as cool and normal.

Drama

Our drama team takes the audience on an emotional roller coaster ride concluding with a challenge for teens to live life without regrets. Using storylines based on real life situations, teens witness the pain, heartache and regret that often accompanies risky behavior such as pre-marital sex. Each scene encourages young people to make wise choices in relationships, sex and their futures, and to make better choices if they have already become sexually active.

Real Life

The motivational speaking segments are tied directly into the drama. The audiences are hit hard with the truth and facts about life, love, and relationships. Serving as a liaison between the audience and the performers, the speaker challenges the audience with the facts, real life information. In addition, BreakDown integrates video segments into the presentation of young people sharing their real life stories, encouraging audience members to explore their own hearts. Having experienced the consequences of sexual activity, they encourage their peers to think seriously about their choices and serve as positive examples of making better choices.

Our Message

Our message for teens is about HOPE. Hope that they always have choices. Hope that it is never too late to start over. Hope that the good choices they are making will eventually pay off. Hope that they can reach their goals and dreams by choosing wisely today, and hope that they are not alone in this world and have people who care about their lives and futures.

Our message is for the HEART. We want teens to feel valuable, worthy of respect, and deserving of dignity.

And our message is about FREEDOM, freedom to follow their dreams and to live life without regrets.
