Register Now Mother/Son Luau
What is the purpose of the Mother/Son Luau?
This is a chance to have a night with your son. We provide dinner, dessert, and entertainment and you come prepared for competitions, limbo, hula dancing and lots more fun. There will also be an age appropriate message focused on purity, honor, respect, personal accountability for mothers and sons, and an opportunity to make a pledge to purity. We value the role a mother has in her son's life and we want to cultivate that special relationship by a night focused on chivalry and respect. Our hope is that this event will be just the beginning for a new generation of young men who know the importance of respect, honor and integrity.
What do you wear?Luau attire is encouraged but not required. (please leave the coconut bras at home!) We will be playing some games so you will want to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We suggest kakhis and tennis shoes.
How much does it cost?The registration fee is $25 per couple and $5 for each additional son. This fee is a tax-deductible donation that will help support our ministry’s efforts of spreading God’s message of purity.
How do I pay?You can either make your payment online through PayPal by selecting the "Donate" button below or mail your payment to: Alpha Alternative Pregnancy Care Center, P.O. Box 370, Hopkinsville, KY 42241. Please make checks payable to Alpha Alternative and write "Mother/Son Luau" in the memo area on the check.
How do I register?
You can register and pay online by clicking here Mother/Son Luau. Registration forms must be submitted with payment by August 13, 2010 as space is limited.
What if the biological mother can not attend?Sons may be escorted by an "adopted" mother, whether that be an aunt, grandmother, friend, step-mother, etc. We want everyone young boy interested to feel welcomed.
